California-based indie I Have No Way Of Proving It But I Swear I Used To Be Smarter Funnier And Less Tired T-shirt . shoe brand Freda Salvador, which retails in Canada at Holt Renfrew, has been offering croc-effect loafers, boots and slides since its founding in 2013, eschewing the real thing altogether. “We never got into using actual exotic crocodile skin for several reasons,” says the brand’s co-founder Megan Papay.

The main reason is the embossed croc alternatives look so real it’s hard to tell the difference, so why would we ethically choose to do that? We made a point to use tanneries in Italy that are incredible at making calf skin look exactly like snake, lizard or crocodile, from the colour to the raised scales I Have No Way Of Proving It But I Swear I Used To Be Smarter Funnier And Less Tired T-shirt .”Of late, mock croc has been given prominent placement on sites like Farfetch and Net-a-Porter, whose offerings range from Stella McCartney shoulder bags to Chloé boots to Staud totes, and has also been dominating the street style scene. Hudson’s Bay, which carries croc-effect pieces by brands like By Far and Rejina Pyo, has also clearly taken notice of the trend.“Animal prints have been exploding all over the runways and at Hudson’s Bay for the past few seasons,” says Tyler Franch, the retailer’s fashion director. “I love that the newest form of the trend comes to us in mock croc! It’s the easiest way to inject some affordable luxury into your look.”Yesterday, the Canadian shoe designer committed to producing 100% vegan consumer products going forward, beginning with their Spring 2019 collection. Call It Spring’s vice president Monia Atijas explained in a statement how there was a focus placed on making vegan shoes more accessible to consumers, which she deemed to be an important factor when developing this new footwear collection. The process consisted of conducting “a thorough assessment of all products, to identify what materials and components needed to be replaced, develop[ing] a vegan policy that outlined what materials were no longer permitted, and devise[ing] steps to ensure all products would be entirely free from animal materials or derivatives.”Call It Spring wants to make it easier for consumers to identify vegan products by printing a “V” on all shoe soles and boxes. Their website also features more information on their vegan shoes, and the processes behind their production. With the brand’s shift towards sustainability, they hope to better the environment and increase accessibility to animal-friendly options without compromising on style. Consumers are demanding sustainable practices from fast-fashion brands, and, as part of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, Call It Spring has taken it upon themselves to meet these growing expectations.

The delivery was fast! I got my shirt out of the bag. It was amazingly soft. Like the softest shirt I ever owned. And that’s saying a lot because I’m trying 35 yrs old. I ordered a large. I may have been able to get away w a medium but I wanted it a little loose. I’m 5’7″ and 160 lbs and wear 36D. The shirt fit well and covered my butt completely. I hate bending over and having to worry about what I’m showing the world. I decided I wanted another 1 or 2 in different colors. I ordered black so I could dress it up or down. I can tell this will be my favorite shirt.

Nice shirts for the price
I am happy with the shirts, the are not so heavy and not so thin. the quality is good. I wear size M, but I was thinking to buy size L because most the reviews complaint about the shrinkage. anyhow, I decided to buy size M, when I got the shirts they were quite large for size M. after I washed and hot dried them, they shrink a bit, now they fit me very well. the only complaint is the color. i bought army green, but I was expecting a little bit more darker green. the army green I got is quite old, looks like Vietnam war green…
